Workflow Overview Page

The Workflow Overview page provides a comprehensive view of your current workflow inputs, ingestion points, or live stream source saved to your Switchboard Account. If your account runs multiple workflows that different team members share in your organization, you can conveniently sort and filter through them.

This means you can run multiple live streams simultaneously, giving your organization more freedom and flexibility to multistream. Additionally, since Switchboard is cloud-based, team members worldwide can send a live video source to designated workflows, which can be streamed simultaneously. You can manage the multiple workflows in your account by navigating to the Workflow Overview page.

Workflow Sort and Filter Feature

  • Click the down arrow at the top of the workflow name.

  • Select View All Workflows from the menu.

The Workflow Overview page will open, displaying every workflow saved to your Switchboard account.

You will be able to quickly identify the activity on a particular workflow. For instance, you will notice a green dot indicating that it is receiving incoming video from a live stream source. Additionally, a number next to it will indicate the number of destinations that are live streaming on the specific workflow.

Sort workflows

Sort Alphabetically

  • Click the Sort button at the top of the workflow overview page.

  • Choose Aa-zZ; the workflows will sort themselves alphabetically.

  • Note they are sorted alphabetically LEFT to RIGHT, then TOP to BOTTOM.

  • Repeat to sort in reverse alphabetical order.

Sort by Live Status

  • Click the Sort button at the top of the workflow overview page.

  • Choose Live. The list will be sorted by Active Workflows (workflows receiving an incoming video feed) and InActive. Active workflows will have a green dot next to them.

Filter Workflows

Click the Filter button at the top of the workflow overview page.

Only active workflows will be displayed.

Workflows that are live streaming to destinations will have a green dot, and the number of live destinations will be displayed next to it.

Open Workflow

Click the View button to open the workflow.
